To my Dear Patients and Friends,

This is one of my life’s biggest announcements and one that I am very comfortable in sharing. Many of you know that I recently celebrated 30 years of being a Chiropractor and some of you also know that Donna and I welcomed our second grandchild into the family.

With our kids and grandchildren living away from us, we contemplated the possibility of moving closer to them or having the flexibility in our schedule to visit them more often.

These issues, as well as my works physical demands taking a toll on me, led me to pursue the search to find a great Doc who would continue to take care of you and your families health journey as well as that of our dedicated team members, Amy and Carmen and their families.

I am delighted to share that God has brought Dr. Alex Babcock into our lives to take over Advantage Chiropractic effective February 1st 2025! He and his wife Anna, along with their two children are excited to continue the legacy that Donna and I have started.

Dr. Alex brings many great attributes to the practice, including acupuncture, soft tissue and with his back ground as an athlete loves to treat athletes and sports injuries. I will be staying on with Dr. Alex through this transition over the next few weeks. My goal is to share as much information with him about each and every one of you to make this transition as welcome as possible and I know he will do great things.

Donna will be transitioning her nutritional coaching/consulting business, Inspired Health and Wellness to a more virtual mode which will allow us some flexibility. We are currently working on her new website getinspiredhealth.net which will be a great resource for supplement orders, educational videos and more!

As far as me, I will be providing practice relief, consulting services, as well as supporting Inspired Health with Donna. We both sincerely thank you all for supporting us and our business over the past 28 years!

Dear Friends,

My name is Dr. Alex Babcock. I would like to introduce myself so that you may become more familiar with me, as I look forward to getting to know you better as well. Dr. Mark Roerick will be working with me so that I may become familiar with your individual health care concerns over the next several weeks. During this transition, I look forward to meeting with you and addressing any concerns or issues regarding your personal health care that you may have.

After completing my Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science at Bethany Lutheran College in Mankato, MN, I earned my Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Northwestern Health Sciences University, located in Bloomington, MN, the same school that Dr. Mark attended. I have been practicing at a family-focused, wellness-based practice in Maple Grove for the past two years, and am very excited to bring my knowledge and expertise in treating patients of all ages and conditions to Advantage Chiropractic!

I am married to my high school sweetheart Anna, where we met in Elk River. She works in HR for the Elk River school district but is currently home with our daughter (Nora) and our newborn son (Henry). She will also be working at the practice with community outreach efforts. As stated, we have two sweet children: Nora, who will be 2 in March, and Henry, who was just born on December 22nd! If I’m not in the office, I’m spending my time with my family, coaching baseball/softball, and spending time outdoors. We have chosen this area to be our home because we feel it is an excellent place to raise our family and are excited to put down roots in St. Cloud.

Because your comfort is extremely important to me, I will continue to use similar adjusting techniques that Dr. Mark has administered, as well as implement new ones when needed. I am a board-certified Chiropractic Acupuncturist and also enjoy different soft tissue muscle techniques. You will continue to see Amy and Carmen’s smiling faces, as they will remain a part of the Advantage Chiropractic team.

I can imagine that you may have concerns of entrusting your health care needs to a different doctor, but I am certain that my warm personality, comprehensive educational background, and years of experience treating patients will ensure a smooth transition. I am committed to maintaining the high level of personal care that Dr. Mark has provided over the years.

We would invite you to save this date for an Open House/Farewell Party. It will be held at the office on Friday, March 7th, 7:30- 2:00pm. I hope to see all of you there!
